My motivation: Don’t you hate it when you want to watch a show or movie, only to find it’s not available, as if it’s been taken off of your favorite streaming platform and/or you have to subscribe to a new subscription service just to watch what you want?

Introduction to Jellyfin

Jellyfin is a free and open-source media server that helps organize and play all our movies, shows, and music on different devices like phones, tablets, computers, and TVs. It’s essentially our personal Netflix.

Here are some cool things you can do with Jellyfin:

You can stream your favorite videos and music to any device that’s connected to your Jellyfin server.

Jellyfin helps keep my media organized, adding pictures and descriptions to make it easier to find what you want to watch/listen to.

You can access Jellyfin from different devices like your computer, phone, tablet, or even your TV!

• Makes sure it works on any device:

Jellyfin can change the way videos are shown to match your device. So even if your device doesn’t play a certain video format, Jellyfin will change it so you can still watch it.
